CFO Pulse Survey 2009
It is our view that the effectiveness of an organisation’s finance function has an important bearing on overall organisation performance.
A study of the challenges facing finance functions and the strategies they are employing to manage these challenges is important to provide CFOs with the opportunity to benchmark their finance functions against their peers. In this survey we aimed to identify the real business issues facing CFOs in these changing times, and their opinions on how these issues might change in the future. CFOs are playing an increasingly important role in business decision making as they move beyond merely an accounting and control function, and this survey provides some insight into their views.
We conducted the survey to help us engage in a more valuable dialogue with our clients, and it is our hope that all finance decision makers will find this report of value in comparing their finance function with peer organisations.
