Cover & Insurance

As a member of the RSM Bird Cameron team you'll have access to a wide range of health covers and insurance benefits should the need arise. These benefits include:   

Life and Permanent Disability Cover

On joining, employees are immediately covered for Life & Total & Permanent Disability (TPD). There are maximum insurance limits which employees should satisfy themselves with when assessing their personal affairs.

Staff Income Protection Plan

On the second anniversary of joining the firm, staff members become automatically covered under the Staff Income Protection Plan.

This plan covers members for any illness or accident (other than self-inflicted) 24 hours per day, 7 days per week worldwide. The cover is "guaranteed renewable" which means that regardless of claims experience, member's cover will continue. The income protection plan is also subject to maximum insurance limits.

Group Insurance Scheme

RSM Bird Cameron, in association with Western United Insurance Brokers Pty Ltd, operate a Group Insurance Scheme covering all areas of general insurance, i.e. home, contents, car etc. Premiums are very competitive and excellent cover is provided. 

Corporate Health Insurance

NIB Health Funds are one of Australia's largest private health insurers, with options designed to suit both your budget and lifestyle.  RSM Bird Cameron, through an independent broker, has evaluated a number of health plans for employees and believes that NIB offers you top quality health cover and services.

Travel Insurance

As part of our affiliation with AIG, staff members and their families have access to discounted rates for travel insurance both within Australia and overseas.  Savings can be up to 40%.
