At RSM Bird Cameron we understand that starting your career is an exciting challenge. We want to give our cadets the right connections to be successful in their future careers. Whilst studying for your university degree, we will help you cultivate your professional development and provide a balance of practical experience with study assistance.
What is a Cadetship?
Get a head start on your career goals by putting theory into practice and working in a professional and supportive environment. A cadetship at RSM Bird Cameron offers you paid full-time employment to gain practical industry experience while simultaneously completing your business/commerce degree part-time at university.
Our Program
Typically our cadets join us straight from year 12. If you are completing your Year 12 Certificate in; have a firm belief in providing excellent service to our clients; show spirit and a want to be the best you can be, we are interested in hearing from you.
Mentoring and Guidance
At RSM Bird Cameron, we support you throughout your cadetship by assigning you a mentor, to guide and assist you with developing your technical and non-technical skills. As a valued member of our team you will also have ongoing guidance and support from all of your fellow work colleagues, including the Partners and Principals within your division.

To help you connect for your future we provide you with the opportunity to choose the area of practice which interests you, so that you can get your career on the fast track by gaining experience and developing your skills in your preferred division.

How to apply
Application for our Sydney 2013 cadetship program will open in May 2012. We encourage year 12 students completing their HSC in 2012 to apply.
